Above the Garage

Above the Garage Productions is the name of my company. Sort of.

The name was first invented when I met my future wife and we moved in together. We had a big bonus room above the garage and since we were 'dinks' (dual income - no kids) we had a lot of space so I put my computer and music equipment into that room.

I had great visions of writing code, music, and stories and publishing them, and so I invented a company name.

From time to time over the years the company has been active, and I've been a consultant. I have actually published a book Nano-Plasm under the Above the Garage imprint. I have written code and sold it for profit. I have written music but not for profit. So I've managed to barely achieve some of my earlier goals.

But now ... it's just this web site.

Interestingly, every company I have worked at since moving to Washington, including my own, of course, but excepting Cavedog, has had covered parking and my office has been above some portion of it. That's amazing!
